Internet Apps and Tools

I downloaded the program or add-on called "Page-sucker". This program allows the user to save the website so it is available when they have no internet connection.

Is this program useful? Yes!
Is this program a neccesity? No

Page-sucker does what Internet Explorer can already do. It saves webpages for offline mode. This can be done easily in IE by selecting "File" > "Save As" > and changing the type to "Webpage Complete" then choosing a filename and saving. The webpage is then available offline, as is the same with Page-Sucker.

I downloaded and installed page-sucker to see what benefits it had over the option in IE. The only real benefit I could see was the ease of use, and the user interface. But that aside both do the same thing. One is already installed on your PC (internet explorer) and one has to be downloaded and installed, and then registered and paid for to gain the full benefits (page-sucker). For me I am quite happy to stick with IE to save pages for offline.
